      Hi everyone.

Hi, this is my first post on the forums, I've reached the page searching in Google. I've got interested in lucid dreaming several months ago when the topic was discussed in psychology class. That time I tried to start a dream journal, but i've abandoned it a week later. Now i'm going for serious!

Aside of just saying hi, I've got a question for you: When i wake up in the middle of the night, does dream cycle restart?

      Thanks in advance.

      Max.

      to DreamViews!

Dream Journals are the dreamers foremost tool! Don't abandon your best friend!

I believe it does, unless you can keep yourself in it, by not moving and such. Thats how DEILDs work. (I think... Correct me if I am wrong, I wouldn't want to lead a newbie astray)

      Any questions? Ask me!

And check out the tutorials section right away!

Take a look at the sleep cycle tutorial in the tutorials section. You have 4 or 5 dream cycles in an average night, you usually wake up after one, so essentially yes.

We have a great section here for dream journalling, if you don't mind it being public, or you can have your own on your computer, it's a very good tool

I've woke up two times with the cellphone's alarm, 90 and 270 minutes after i sleep, but didn't recalled nothing. But, 90 minutes from that last waking (6:30), i've wake up accidentally and recalled a dream. Then, 10:30, woke up again, and recalled another.

      Hi Untiliget,
I am new here as well. Finding lots of interesting information! I'm keeping a dream journal and keeping track of my dreams. Sometimes I remember lots of them other times not so many. I had a lucid dream years ago I hope to achieve that again. Hopefully sooner than later! Good luck to you!
