      First (kind of) LD

Well, a few days ago I woke up in one of my dreams. I can't really recall what I noticed differently, something with my sister and mom. Anyways in my dream I stood up from the seat I was in. I was thinking about doing all sorts of things now that I knew i was dreaming. But as soon as I stood up, I felt this weird feeling in my chest and I could not move. It also seemed as if I couldn't breath at all in this state. This lasted a few minutes until I finally woke up. It almost felt as if i was about to die because I could not breath. It was pretty scary at the time
Any suggestions on why this happened and how I can prevent it for next time. And does this happen to many other people?
      Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I haven't heard of this before...

Check the threads in Attaining Lucidity, and maybe Sleep and Health...

Sorry I couldn't help, but good job getting lucid, even if it didn't last!
      Bollocks.

Hmm, I dont recall hearing about that before... It could have just been a fluke though. Does it happen often to you?
