      Need help with Dream Recall.

Hey guys, just wondering on how I should go about getting up in the middle of the night to remember my dreams and write them down...

Should I use my cellphone ring tone? If i do should it be loud or low? How many times should I do this every night?

That only works if you use the intro music from Cow & Chicken.

That depends on if you want to actually wake up for writing down your dreams.

20 times per night is the absolute minimum. I'd go for 60 times.

So you wake up 60 times a night? That seems a bit extreme, are you messing with me because I'm a newbie. :$?

      Lol... Don't worry, Fayez.

Use your normal alarm, since you know that works!

      Enough to get you up.

And some people say every 90 minutes or so... Up to you.
      Bollocks.

After the first three hours, set your alarm to wake up every 90 mins. Its the best way for sure

Then get off the newb forums and go to senseless banter where behavior like that belongs.

Welcome Fayez. Apologies about ^. You can do whatever you think will be sufficient to wake yourself up. If you are worried about disturbing others with your alarm, some people like to put their phone on vibrate and put it into a sock or a pocket so that it only wakes them up. Otherwise, just go with whatever will work. There are no strict rules, it's all about what fits your personal preferences and gets the job done. I personally don't like super-loud alarms just because they startle me so that it might be difficult to fall back asleep later.

I'd say do it about once every 90 minutes or so, ideally you will wake up naturally at the end of your dreams and not even have to use an alarm. Just keep experimenting and see what works best while disrupting your sleep the least!
