      night terrors & lucid dreaming

i get night terrors sometimes, all the classic symptoms, i've had a couple of lucid's when i was a kid, is it a bad idea to explore lucid dreaming with the threat of night terrors?

any thoughts on the matter appreciated

Quite the opposite. Through lucid dreaming you will most likely be able to get rid of these terrors.

Dizko is right, when lucid and in control, you can make these night terrors go away!

That must be pretty tough having night terrors. But I agree with what everyone has said thus far, LDs have proven to be most effective towards nightmares (I know, very different) so theres a good chance that it should help alleviate night terrors. I just don't see how LDing could work against you.

Best of luck with your condition.

Yeah, I think lucid dreaming is one of the best things that you can do for that.
