Was this my first Lucid Dream experience? Worth a read

For the experts out there. I woke up this morning about 6:30 and I tried to put myself into a pre-astral projection meditative state but what I got afterwards was amazing. I found myself in my dream but felt still a little "in control", I kind of slowed things down and focused on a row of conifers, all though I was floating. I concentrated on the conifers to ground myself and then I knew I was in the zone. I do apologise about this, but this is the most control and feeling that I have ever had in a dream, it was extremely real feeling and admittedly, I was outside a hotel and I went inside to find a beautiful woman. This is where things got interested, I kind of bounced out of the dream but still kind of concious, I entered the dream again and went about slowing things down once again and I then experienced something really special. I popped inside my body and felt an absolute freedom, it is a sensation that I have never had before, I was so happy, it was amazing. Again, I looked for a beautiful girl but I ended up at the hotel bar, and had a drink with the bar tender.
Now, I can't with my limited knowledge state if this was a lucid dream, a dream or astral projection.. .. any ideas would be well received

      Hey sefpacific.

Im not even nearly an expert. I'm new here my self.

But from what i do know. A lucid dream is where you become aware you dreaming. Because you were able to think about and controll you own actions independantlly i think you were proabbly lucid.

It doesn't sound like an out of body experience, more of an inbody experience ? heh.
Thats just my opinion. I'd imagine an out of body experience being almost the opposite to what you described.

But as i say. Im no expert

I have astral planed...actually that's a fib...I created an OBE through a meditation workshop and the "pop out" you experience was a similar experience to the "pop in", I experienced this morning...just in reverse I guess. Now I have done this...(I was thinking about it all night, a few hours before sleeping and obviously when I awoke at 6am, this morning)...I am looking forward to having some fun and really experiment. Admittedly, I have lucid dreams before but never experiencing this...it was excellent.
