      Hello! and a few questions

Hi, first i'll let you know! i'm Mike, i'm 18 and i enjoy hanging out with my friends! and sometimes i enjoy getting into a little bit of trouble

      My question is this!

Since i'm attempting to lucid dream. i noticed that i am dreaming but... i cant do anything! like.... 3rd person view, you can see yourself, control yourself but cant control anyone else or what happends, just control you!(whats that called)

When i wake up is the only time i say, Dangit! it was a dream!

Dream i had before i woke up today i was at school, with few my friends running around, you know, skipping class. i had the 3rd person view. i saw myself from 1 feet away distance. but when i woke up is when i got frustrated, it was a dream i had my chance to make it lucid, but i coundnt! i need some help

Also, whats A WILD and DILD. Is there any other names out there?

I can't help with the first questions because I have yet to have a full lucid dream where I could control anything

However wild stands for wake induced lucid dream, and dild stands for dream induced lucid dream.

Wilds are quite hard to do, where as dilds is where you do a RC in a dream or see a dream sign and then realize you are dreaming and become lucid. The most common method I believe.

There are a lot of other methods like WBTB (wake back to bed) and CAT. Best way to learn about others is to look them up on wiki or look around websites that have info on lucid dream. DV has some good tutorials.

First of all, good job! You have gotten lucid! The definition is just recognizing that you are dreaming.

The Database should offer some help on getting in control, and it'll explain what a WILD and a DILD is.

      and good luck!
