It was indescribable! I never realized just how real everything would be. I've been trying for over a month now and the wait and effort was completely worth it. There was a time two weeks ago when I realized I was dreaming, but I woke up instantaneously. This one had to last a good 10 minutes.
Anyway, enough celebration, here's the dream. The induction method I used was a WBTB-WILD combination.
After laying in bed for what felt like a half-hour, I started to think that SP wasn't going to come, so I gave up and decided to stop concentrating. The moment I decided that, my entire body was engulfed with a "foot-fallen asleep" feeling and I realized I had fallen asleep. With a little effort, I rolled over and stood up. I just sort of knew I was dreaming. I walked into the hallway where I thought I saw my friend's cat Snape, but it turned out to be Persian, my girlfriend's cat since high school, who never came home one day. Seeing him confirmed my suspicions, but in order to be certain I did the nose RC. I could still breathe so I knew. I had to take a moment to calm myself, because I read that you don't want to get too excited. I tried to push my finger through my hand, but that didn't work, so I tried to jump through the walls. I kept smacking into them and falling to the ground. Then I ran out of the front door and jumped off the balcony (2nd story apartment) and took flight. It was effortless. I could spin, speed up, slow down, anything I wanted. After flying for a while, I spotted some women by a pool and decided to see what oral sex would feel like. Skipping the specifics, it felt just like real life. Then I had a false awaking, where I woke up and told my girlfriend about it. After which, I woke up.
To anyone who is still pursuing a lucid dream, but hasn't had one yet: Don't give up! When the moment comes, all the frustration and waiting will mean nothing. Just keep at it with patient perspective. You'll be incredibly grateful you did.
