      Hi everyone.

Thought I'd get on here after something rather odd got me thinking about dreams. I've had a read through this site but am obviously all new to it all.

I rarely remember dreams for any length of time after waking up. However a couple of weeks ago I distrinctly remember knowing I was in a dream and had full control for what felt like about 5 minutes although it was impossible to tell. I found myself in an old school building a saw a child I know. It was about then I seemed to realise I was in a dream and decided to test it out by trying simple things like asking him certain questions and eventually searching out for someone I knew which although I never found him I specifically remember choosing certain places to go before eventually the dream ended.

So today I've finally got on t'internet to look it all up. Since then I've remember my dreams quite well the next day and have decided to keep a journal now as it says on here.

Hey and welcome to the site.
The journal is a great idea, be sure to write down every possible detail right when you wake up from the dream. Also, having a steady sleeping schedule improves your recall.
Good luck with having more lucids!
