      Lightbulb Hello there!

Hi. First, let's get the basics out of the way, shall we?

I'm a boy/man/male, and I'm 18 years old. Oh, and I live in tiny little, chilly Denmark, though we're having one of the hottests years ever.

For many years the thought of controlling your dreams has fascinated me, even before I knew whether it was possible or not. You see, I don't remember ever having control of my dreams, or even being aware that I'm dreaming while it happens.

Fate, luck or maybe randomness? Whatever the reason I Stumbled upon a site describing lucid dreams (I think it was the Wikipedia page on LDs), and only then did I know, that control was possible. Then, about a week ago I found this site, also by chance and thought: "hey! Maybe I can find out how others do it", and here I am.

I do have some problems though...

First of all: Even when it's OBVIOUSLY a dream, I don't realize it. I can fly around (and (always!) in the end, fall to the ground). I can be a woman (at least in my head. I don't remember ever seing myself as a woman), or I can see stuff that just doesn't exist, yet my mind tells me, that it's real.

Second: I can read. In real life it's no big deal. Actually, it's quite nice that I can read, but when it's one of those obvious dream signs, it's a problem. I remember reading various books, even ones I haven't read in real life, and, sometimes, I get a déjà-vu feeling when I read a new book. Is it possible that I've read it in a dream?

2.5: The same goes for movies. I've watched scenes from movies (that I HAVE seen in real life) and I saw nothing out of the ordinary with it. Sadly, I forgot to find the film and see if my dream was correct or not.

Third: I very, VERY rarely remember my dreams, and those that I do remember are most often realistic.

Anyway, Hello to everyone out there. I hope this was posted in the right place (I always fear that I post something in the wrong place), and that I'm welcome . Sweet dreams.

Yeah, this exactly the right place

      Welcome here Tlahti

Your first problem is completly normal. Everyone is like that and this is why this site is here, to train yourself to know when your dreaming and when your not.

And I had things like you too... Once I had a dream and then later on I read a book that I didn't know existed when I had the dream and I could remember a scene because that's what the dream was, exactly, every detail... No one (of what I know) can explain this but dreams somtimes show the future...

Also, same here, my dream recall is like a wave. Some days I remember so much other days barely nothing... Its a good thing that your dreams are realistic, it will help you. now all you have to do is learn how to remember my dreams. There are many tutorials for that

Good luck in your path to Controled LUcid Dream
