      My first partial lucid dream...

I will spare boring you with the details of the dream; the primary content is that I was driving and looked at the digital clock twice and both of the outputs were different. At that point I realized I was dreaming but unfortunately woke up due to the excitement and surprise.

It was... interesting. I would like for this to happen again, but reside for a bit longer.

Is what I experienced normal for someone stumbling into the subject?
Furthermore, what should I do now to continue?

      Thank you.

It's pretty common for people to wake up from a lucid dream if they get too excited. Just stay calm the next time you have one and try to stabilize the dream. I stabilize my lucid dreams by rubbing my hands together.

Congrats on having the LD Excitement usually wakes up new LDers. The best advice is to just stare at one spot and focus. It will help ground you in your dream and keep it more stable. Try to be intrigued rather then excited as to keep you in the dream Keep up the good work!

It's kinda hard when you are spinning unwillingly.... I had already practice not to get too excited and just stabilise by using visualisation but I didn't expect I would be spinning unwillingly... XD

Hey congrats, that is definitely a lucid dream and a good reality check Have you been reading a lot about lucid dreaming? The tutorials would definitely be worth a good read, and if you're not keeping one you should start a dream journal, though it sounds like you may already know your stuff!

Thank you, I appreciate that. I haven't checked the tutorials yet, but it will be my next move.
