dream recall good but never lucid

I am aware during the day and I make several reality checks. I recall at least three dreams per night. Yet, it never occurs that I do any reality checks in a dream, and I never get a lucid dream. It has been like that for more than a year. What is the problem? Would be greatful.

What reality checks are you doing, and when do you do them?

First of all from morning I asm in awareness almost all of the time, suspecting that this might be a dream, then i look at my palm and try to wipe the palm lines, or pull my finger if it could get longer, or strthch myself with the aim of becoming taller than everyone. Most of the time I remember to do a reality check before passing through abny door, or climbing steps. I use many doors in my dreams but it never occurs to me in a dream that i remember any reality checks.

im having kindov the same problems, i just cant seem to figure out how to preform a reality cheak during a dream, because you just lose consusness and everything dosent occur to you. but mabey it comes with more practice and being more awar when you dream.

Well, If it's not working for you, try using some other LD induction methods like MILD or WILD

re:dream recall good but can't be lucid

Yeah thanks. Okay, for example, I remember three dreams today, and then this afternoon while taking water from my filter, I remembered that I had deamt about serving water from it to my brother. This makes it four dreams. Yet, No lucidity. I will see if i can try WILD, but I am usually tired so I just need a sleep at night. Any games like WILD might keep me awake instead.

Hmm... have you been keeping a dream journal and finding out your dream signs? That should make relying on reality checks infinitely easier.

I think that my dream signs are doors, because I always use door in my dreams. Is that okay?

I tried WILD, and since you do it lying on your back, I cannot sleep because my windpipe probably gets to the snoring position which means snoring that is why I always wake up as soon as I am getting relaxed enough to sleep. Can relaxation be done lying on the belly, or on the side o the belly?

I think one thing that also helps alot but isn't mentioned much is combining more than 1 RC at a time. When you perform the RC ask "Am I dreaming?" and then do more than one at a time since sometimes one can fail.

I use these RCs (quoted from a diff site) and do a few at a time and they work really well:

Breathing - can you hold your nose and mouth shut and still breathe?

Jumping - when you jump, do you float back down?

Reading - can you read a sentence twice without it changing?

Vision - is your vision clearer or blurrier than normal?

Hands - can you push your right fingers through your left hand?

Time - can you read a clock face or digital watch?

Magic - can you fly, shape shift, or walk through walls?

Lights - do light switches work properly?

Mirrors - does your reflection look normal in the mirror?

Memory - what day is it and what are you doing now?

Logic - can you add up two numbers for a correct answer?
Of those I personally mostly do breathing, poking my hand, lights, jumping, time, and reading a small piece of paper I wrote out a few times to myself. But it really depends on the person and the dream since I can't always use some of them like lighting.

I have a couple of my own as well, but I made them around my dream signs and things I noticed about my dreams so I'd record down anything that could be viewed as a dream sign and try devising your own reality check for it if you think that will work better.

This entire reality is SELF REFLECTION. You reflect your essence and project it onto the universe.

      Try something like a WILD.
      LD:2 WILD:0 DILD:0

Completed: Fly, create people, make people do things.

Look out to the sky and reach so high grab the air and open your eyes see the past and let go of your fears.
