      Question about WILD

Hi, I have been wondering for a long time how to influence what I dream at night. I'm going to assume that WILD is the best way to get the dream you want, because your brain is thinking about what you want to dream about, but I have some problems with it.

Problem 1: I think about what I want to dream about, but because my brain is busy "thinking" I can't go to sleep, or am not able to sleep.

Problem 2: I think about what I want to dream about, but I don't think too hard about it because I want to go to sleep easily. but when I go to sleep my dream can be the most random thing ever, not even something I would ever think about anyway.

Any advice on how I can think about what I want to dream about without staying up all night because my brain is still "active"?

Are you combining WILD with WBTB? You need to figure out when your REM period is about to start and set your alarm for just before that (5ish hours) till you figure it out. Otherwise drink alot of water and you should wake up at the proper period as well. Don't focus too much attention on thinking and keeping your mind busy (that works better in DILD I noticed before sleeping 10 min or so) as that will keep you awake and stop you from entering the later WILD stages.

Once the HI becomes more dominant and the dreamscape starts to form and stabilize is when you should try to mould it to your liking imo. The imagery should guide you right into a dream. Then you should try exerting things like passive/active control to get the events you like to occur.
This entire reality is SELF REFLECTION. You reflect your essence and project it onto the universe.
