      Question My First Lucid Dreams

I have been interested in lucid dreams for 3 months now, and when I finally started doing reality checks earlier this month, I had three! (These are my only ones so far... but oh well. The first two lasted about 5 seconds and I barely remember them... they were both DILDs- I woke up because I was so shocked. But last night I tried a MILD and it worked! I was lucid (I think from the start of the dream) and I was able to control everyone in the room (made my dad stand up and sit down, stand up and sit down, on and on like that). I tried to change the setting but couldn't, so I tried spinning twice and woke up shortly after.

How do you go about controlling your surroundings?

P.S. This is my first post on this sight!

There are a lot of scene changing techniques.
Dream spinning works for some people. Find a door and picture what is on the other side and open it. Assume something will be where you want it to be.

Thanks. I'll try it again tonight.
