Well I can say that because of my research on dreaming my dreams have increased greatly, and my dream recall is good, usually remember at least one dream a night. I have trouble becoming lucid! i have only relized i was dreaming twice, but each time i got distracted and like forgot that i became aware... |

I am motivated, but i dont have enought time in the morning to write anything down. My alarm clock pretty much jumbles up my brain in the morning when it goes off. erasing almost any memory of any dreams. and from there i have an hour to get ready for school. I guess I could take my dream journal to school and a get a new alarm clock? This ill do and get back to you in a week or so to tell you if i make any progress. |

maybe you should try keeping a journal besides your bed and instead of always forcing yourself to remember your dreams, just write down the ones you do remember. when i try to force myself to remember, i find i overlook the more important details of my dreams and only remember what the dream was about. also, instead of stressing about doing this daily, do it when you can sleep in and your sleep is not disturbed by something such as your alarm clock. i find that when i wake up on my own, i remember my dreams better and i'm not so scatter-brained. also, try not to write in too much detail, just jot down the things that stick out in your memory or else you might find that you've concentrated on one aspect of your dream too much and have forgotten the rest. after you've done this, go back and try to add more detail to your dream notes. also, when i do wake up, i like to lay in bed, without jumping up, and try to recollect my dreams in my mind first. another thing that may help is to set your alarm 30 mins earlier than your are used too. when it goes off, hit snooze and allow yourself to fall back asleep. i find that i can remember my dreams better if i'm not in such a deep sleep. then when you wake up, try to remember what you dreamed about. hope this helps! |

...we barely have time to react, let alone to rehearse, and i don't think i'm any better than you, but i don't think i'm any worse...~anni
I heard that when you first go to sleep you should repeat to your self "i will remember my dreams" over and over and when you do have a dream ,if you wake up, right it down then and there so that it's fresh in your head. |

One way is to keep sticky notes next to your bed. Whenever you wake up jot down one or two keywords for your dream(s). Then during the day, when you find time, look at the keywords and write down the entire dream in detail. |
