      Little question.

In lucid dreams if you talk to people, or touch things etc, will it be exactly like you THINK it will be? will people react how you would expect them to do and will everything be based on memory/imagination.

i just thought it would be impossible to say travel to america in my dream and it be how it is in reality, it would be how i expect it to be, or remember from seeing movies etc.

It sort of depends. To a certain extent it will be built up from memories, but the insane dream craziness factor will sometimes be there whether you are lucid or not. You'll open a door in your house and outside will be Mt Everest or an arctic cave, or it could just be the door to the driveway. Sometimes DCs will act totally insane, sometimes they will be logical and normal. It really just varies.

Dreams that I have where I am in a familiar setting (like my bedroom) tend to be very very accurate, unless I do something expecting it to be different. Dreams where I'm in some crazy dream environment are usually significantly weirder. Dream characters (DCs) that I know in RL will usually behave pretty similarly to their real equivalent, while totally fabricated dream characters tend to be a little more dream-like. Usually, your expectations will play a big role especially if you are very very lucid, aware, and confident.

My dream characters / items act really strange most of the time. While lucid people seem to be like zombies, little intelligence, just floating around like a prop.

Really? My DCs are fairly intelligent. Every so often they'll say something that totally makes no sense at all, but usually we are cool.

Things in dreams are usually a combination of your memory and expectations. Of course, it would be rather odd to assume that because you dreamt of a location you have never seen before, it is exactly how it looks in reality. But the ratio between what you remember things are like and what you think they are like usually depends on the individual. Some people have extremely realistic dreams, others have nonsense dreams. Most people are usually in the middle.
