Dream Guide

Excuse my ignorance..But what is a Dream guide? I saw it in someones sig, and I have no idea xD.

On Dreamviews, a Dream Guide is someone, like myself, who is on the staff and whose job it is to welcome new members, answer threads and point people in the right direction, and gently moderate the on-topic forums (move threads, merge threads, close threads, etc). You can see a list of us here http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...d.php?p=438097 A Dream Guide is also (I have no idea who came up with this) a dream character who is believed to be and so is more logical than other dream characters, who often speaks as a normal person would and knows 'a lot about your subconscious'. It's pretty much a fancy name for a dream character who is nice to you. Lots of people hear this, then build into their head the notion that most dream characters are completely ridiculous, while a dream guide is just like another intelligent rational person. I find this severely limiting, and I make sure that I hold all my DCs to higher standards, so that they essentially all behave like a 'dream guide'. As you can tell, I think the notion of DGs is pretty Not everyone feels this way though, so hopefully some of them will answer as well.
