well im just starting off on this adventure. Its funny how ive dreamt strange dreams though, that i really want to concentrate on and control them. (i write my dreams down)...so..any suggestions now?

Try doing reality checks throughout the day. Question reality if you see something weird or strange. You're off to a good start with the dream journal because you can use it to find dream signs, which help you become lucid.

If you know anything about television shows, movies, video games, and the like, you might be able to pick up a dozen tips on how to control your dreams by mimicking what you see in the media. The dream control sub-forum does help, especially with their numerous creative ways to control dreams that members have discovered over the years. The defining aspect of dream control is believing in your ability to influence things. If you can visualize it in your mind, and you believe you can do it in your dreams, then you can.
