      Smile Always lucid dreaming

      Hi,

This may sound a bit weird, but maybe not because this is after all a lucid dreaming forum, but I've not joined because I want to learn how to lucid dream, I've joined because I always have lucid dreams and I can't remember a time when I haven't. I don't use any techniques, I don't go to sleep thinking "I must lucid dream", I just do - in every single dream that I have, I am fully aware that I am dreaming. Well, I've actually had two dreams where I didn't know that I was dreaming and so for quite a long time actually thought that they had really happened, but then realised that there were actually "normal" dreams.

Anyway, what I would love to know is if there is anyone else who always has lucid dreams, and has them naturally, without using any techniques or devices or meditation or anything like that?

      Ta lots,

      Mist

HI Welcome to Dream Views You are what we call a "natural." Before I joined here, I had lots of LDs, and I know a few friends who always have LDs. Its a great thing, but they can be even more vivid and in-depth then you experience now. I remember looking through the tutorials and being on the forum when I first joined. I practiced some of the methods to get a new perspective on the idea of LDing. Its kind of like learning about your roots hehe. Anyway, I hope you love it here and meet alot of cool people. If you ever need any help with anything at all, send me a PM and I'll do what I can Stay Lucid!

Hi all, thanks for the welcomes.
Re control - I have to admit, I tend not to try and control my dreams but let them happen - they're much more fun that way as you don't know what is going to happen next, but when something happens that I really don't like, I just rewind the dream and then go through that bit again but changing the bit that I don't like (for example, I had a dream where my house caught fire but the first time I didn't know where my cat was, so I rewound the dream and then made sure that she came out with us) but I have to really not like something to change it.
