Well i just wanted to say hi since silent lurkers r creepy, just stumbled with this forum and ive been trying for a long time to improve the time im able to stay in a lucid dream...Basically my problem is once i realize im dreaming (realizing isnt a problem)i start to feel my body like floating up and my dreams kind to start to fade and i hear sounds(dog barking, etc) then wake up...While sometimes im able to just try to sleep again and continue my dreams it would be nice some tips and directions.

welcome ceder. Uhm. If the dream starts to fade and you know it is going to end soon, stay still and keep your eyes closed until the dream comes back. DEILD. It is in the tutorial section of the site. It is a very useful technique to get back into a dream and it is easy.

Dream Stabilization and Dream Control come to mind instantly, read through those, they can be infinitely helpful.

Here is also the DEILD Tutorial. I find DEILDs quite helpful, and use them commonly.
      Bollocks.
