What does it 'feel' like when entering LDs

When entering lucidity, what does it feel like (physically)? I get the sensation of wind blowing in my face and can hear the wind blowing across my ears. I see nothing - just a white haze. I can feel my hair blowing in the wind. It may also feel like falling or floating. The key word here is wind. Do you feel that too? Just curious.

In my first lucid dream I remember getting really excited, almost to the point where I would wake up. I think it says in the tutorial thats kinda normal at first. I was in my room so there wasnt any wind, haha. Realizing the power in your posession is such an awesome feeling. As for the white haze, when im trying to go to sleep but say conscious, if that makes any sense, right before im about to fall asleep everything turns from black to a weird, swimming pattern of white stuff (which also happened when i fainted awhile ago). then i usually get nervous cuz i like lose feeling in my hands, face and legs, and im thinking "your sleeping! and your aware of it!" the nervousness (in every case ive tried this method) wakes me up. the whiteness didnt happen in my lucid dream though, it happened when i was listening to music from www.lucidquest.com. i close my eyes and try to go to sleep (while sitting up in this chair) it almost worked

      hey there!

well, the sensations when entering a lucid dream are different for everywone. for me the sensation is like myhead is being filled with water and a loud 'white noise' can sometimes be heard.

I have no idea why it is different for people, but its nothing to be worried or concerned about. It is simply your mind adjusting to the new state of concioussness you just landed yourself in. It is the dreaming equivelant of standing up too fast after sitting down and relaxing for a while.

      hope this helps!

Wow...I don't experience anything special before going into an LD. It's just like a normal dream except after a moment, I realize that I'm in a dream. Then I go about orchestrating crazy dream business as usual.

I've only had one lucid dream that I was lucid for more than a very short period of time in.

(This was before I had even learned what a lucid dream was, and I didn't think of what incredible possibilities there were)

But the first thing I noticed upon becoming lucid was complete astonishment, peace, a feeling of incredible well being.

Crazy as it is, my only memorable lucid dream was quite simple: I was in an infinite, breezy field, mostly just grass and trees.
All I wanted to do was stay there.

when i notice im in the transition between waking life and dream, i usaly notice the vibrations and the high buzzing in the ears. Sometimes theyr more powerfull than other times. Then i start to feel the dream enviorment like im walking into it. Usaly i find myself in the dream realizing im dreaming thouge, and since im there already its nothing special feeling.
