      Question

Hi all, I'll cut right to the chase: Could you guys tell me EVERY KNOWN METHOD to LD? Usually, the waking up while half awake then falling asleep works, but I want a real LD. I only have a few moments of any dream where I (my character, body, whatever LD'ers call it) am in control of MYSELF, not even in control of the environment. Also, I don't even have a chance to attempt LD, as I feel like I DONT DREAM most of the time. My DR is absolutely awful, too. Help?

This certainly isn't every method, but the most common you'll probably be hearing about on this site are probably WILD, MILD, DILD, DEILD, FILD, WBTB.

Don't worry, you're a beginner so don't expect immediate results. A good way to increase dream recall may be to begin a dream journal, if you haven't started one already. Recall gets better over time(and with commitment) and that's the first step to achieving a lucid. Also perhaps start autosuggestion, just repeat phrases such as "I will wake up after each dream period and perfectly remember my dreams", or anything similar to that that encourages recall.

Good luck, and welcome to DreamViews.

Well, I'm not sure about all known techniques, but the tutorials are well tested and commonly used. There is also the Dream Recall Tutorial which should help with your recall problems.

      Good luck, and happy lucids.
      Bollocks.
