Opened the door to falling blackness (the void?) and... beings?!!

OK guys...My name is Brad Im 23 yrds old and live in albany. Thanks for having me here!!! I have a feeling Im going to need your help and guidance. Ive had about 6 lucid dreams now. The last 3 have been in the last month. Every dream I get more experienced with flying/ creating with my mind. my last lucid before this one was My grandfather who passed away, giving me a flying course about two weeks ago...I feel as if Ive been in training for all of this. Anyways- last night was different ...fun...and scary. I found myself in a room when I became lucid. They best was I can describe this was imaging knowing your eyes are shut but your seeing as if your eyes are open . It was so vivid to the point I was uncomfortable at points.I mean This was very very vivid. More then any other lucid dream ive had. So I calmed down a bit and starting creating like my past lucid dreams. I created a few beautiful girls in front of me (Im such a guy sometimes). I hugged and and kissed them....So real...butterfly feelings and everything. Created from nothing.... I was in aw. I messed around for a bit changing things in the room and making objects appear. So I figure I have that down pat. Thought OK lets fly! I have some good air time already clocked in the dreaming world. I flew around the room for a bit...so weightless...In complete awe. It was heaven. I flew to the door of the room and oped it while hovering figured Id take a look. I flew out to complete blackness. I felt Like I was falling from the sky. It was complete blackness I lost control of my flying and was falling very very fast. YOu know that feeling in the pit of your stomach on a roller coaster...? same thing. toal freefall. While I was trying to think of what I could do to make it stop I was being tickled! I couldnt see "them" But I felt as if there were little hands ticking my stomach and legs having fun with me. I couldnt see them. It was like "they" were trying to calm me and have fun with me. I dont remeber any noise from them But I have the feeling there was quite a few pairs of little hands tickling me. At this point I was too scared to stay in the fall and woke myself up. It was very hard at first I tryed a few times to move my bodys arm but failed. Finally I mangaed to jerk my arm and was back in my body...heart pounding! So i searched your lucid dreams forums and found this place today. I was blown away that others have been in the blackness and it has a name...THE VOID. I am in complete awe and I am so confused. I feel asleep again an hour after this and found myself in a room being judged by a group. Some walked by me and said I was ready, some walked by and said " I dont know...mybe" some said yes. And I woke up again. Its almost like I am being trained to see and experience things most wont be able too. I feel like I am being hazed to see if Im ready to experience more. Has anyone experienced anything like this!? Thoughts? Feedback? Help?! lol Im sorry if this is too long and poorly organized for you guys but I am excited ,nervous, scared, happy, and grateful at the same time.

I'm not too firm a believer in all that supernatural stuff, and I myself am unclear on exactly what "The Void" is other than a darkness, and I have never experienced it myself. However, I can direct you to the Beyond Dreaming portion of the site. There are plenty of people there who know alot(way more than I can tell you) about situations like yours. You'll see some posters there who turn up occasionally in Beyond Dreaming, pm them for any questions you don't get answered. Welcome to DreamViews by the way. ^.^

Thank you for letting me know about the Beyond dreaming section I will check it out right now! I have alot to read around here Im not sure what to believe as far as "the supernatural" as well, But this did happen to me last night...

although that experience does sound very interesting, no matter how vivid it was, i think it was all created by your brain in any way, on that 1st dream you could be loosing control and that 2nd dream it seems very different from the previous one, making no connection in between, so you might say it was all a dream or sleep paralysis along with hallucinations

It was one dream last night. I was lucid the whole time....It was when I was falling in the blackness that I lost the ability to manifest things with my mind and lost control of flying But I was aware it was dreaming the whole time.

haha np m8, i found out on another place some1 calling it "the void" as well, quoting part of it ".....I have no physical sensation of my body at all, but after seeming to spend some time in this place (an unknown amount of time, as if time were suspended?), I "hear" a woman's voice, almost as if she is speaking within my mind. She says, "Some day I will give you back your memory of this." And then the dream ends." , though still think it was just imagination

Not only did someone Share the same experience of this place...but someone made it there business to say that there are also beings in the void. This is why I posted here today. Im not alone. That is why I am so worked up

I'm inclined to believe that there are two different types of voids. If you AP, you encounter the one where there are other lifeforms. If you LD, you encounter the one where its mostly darkness and you can probably just think of another place to go to and you'll be there

I haven't ever seen the "void" but I've approached it at least a few times while awake. Once was when I was in a band class and we were led through a visualization that could easily have turned into hypnosis. I was sitting in the chair and felt myself about to "fall" or "sink" into some emptiness or void, but I jerked back from it. The second time was with a LDing self-hypnosis mp3. I was relaxing progressively and at one point felt myself about to slip into the void again, but once again jerked back. It's that feeling when you're about to fall asleep but you think someone is about to touch you or you're about to step down and then you jerk (I'm overusing the term...) awake. I'm more interested in that room you were in. It seems like a place that enhanced your control over the dreamscape and I'd be interested to see if you could return there and have the same level of control as before. It might be worth finding out.

OK guys...things get very interesting. I didn't mention something I now know I should of. mentioned. When I was falling I was trying to think of something that would get me out of this place. Immediately I thought of god. Im not religious per say ... But after thinking about god saving me for a few seconds I thought...no no no not god.....What the strongest feeling I can possible have. Somehow I knew to think of LOVE. I focused on love as hard as I could. I thought of my Mother and girlfriend. I felt real love inside me. That was when I was ticked by beings and released to my body in my bed again. I found this link after I posted here with you guys. It explains the void. It explains why I had to feel love to get out. I only create things I want most of the time girls...mybe the power is to be used for good in a whole other way.... Isnt it funny that Others have experienced this "blackness" and I found some on this site. And one guy even mention the beings. Doesn't seem like a random dream anymore... isnt it funny that I knew I had to think of my love when I was in "the void" (refer to link given) I mean who falls at 400mph in blackness and thinks of love?! Something is coming of this guys. Im not saying Im so special look at me. Im saying there is something adding up of this. I dont think it was my random thought in a lucid dream. I feel like I experienced this void. (please read from the link I posted) its the only way you'll get what im saying. I can tell you that I was there for only about a 40 seconds. (at least thats what it felt like) lol Btw that room I was in before I fell into the darkness was just a normal room. Ive been in all different settings before when flying. so no it want a special room. I actually took a shot at changing the room completely with my mind and was successful (scared myself because it was so vivid) then changed it back lol I have definitely sharped my skills and Im good at making things manifest now. Since this is the NOOB section (thanks for casting my post here btw lol ) If there is anyone who would like to understand how to manifest better let me know. Ive become pretty controlled with it. So I dont know guys...Isnt this a bit interesting ?

Its was so hard at first to manifest thing and not freak yourself out and wake up/ haveing the things stay once you manifest them. The key for me is extreme focus. The best way to describe this is looking at your wall. Imagin there is a clock on the way...you see it in your mind. But you know its not there. LEt that feeling go and tell your mind it is there and nake the image vivid in your mind and dont lose focus. The clock is suddenly there. Its freaky as hell and wonderful at the same time. =)

THE VOID isn't supernatural, though there are some who would like to make it so. Its simply a convenient tag some have adopted. In my mind it means the blackness you can encounter in dreams when waking up, or falling asleep or when a dream scene changes. A lot of the time it can happen if you push a dream too far. Like trying to walk through a wall, or mirror teleport. When your brain hasn't had time to prepare you end up in black. This can be avoided by visualising as you step through. The blackness had depth though. You very much get the feeling your in 3D space. Its very commonly reported - doesn't need to be beyond dreaming.

Did you use any program or you just picked it up somewhere? Someone posted a link here on DV and I downloaded the track. If you search for lucid dreaming mp3s, especially under "Attaining Lucidity" I'm sure you'll come across several of them. i agree with moonshine Ditto.
