      Help Me Out!!

Hey, I have been lurking for a while and finally decided to post cause this is getting frustrating!! My problem is I can never seem to do a RC in my dreams, even when in the dream I recognize a dream sign and know something is "wrong" I still just dismiss it. I have been keeping a dream journal for a while and I have great DR, so no problems there. And I do my RC's faithfully during the day, truthfully asking myself each time if I am dreaming. I have tried MILD several times, and WBTB several times. Each time I just fall asleep with my intent to LD fixed in, and then nothing. So, if you know something I'm doing wrong or something you think I should try please let me know!!!!
      thankss!!!

Force it. Do an INSANE amouth of RCs doing the day, like one every 10 seconds. Sounds stupid, but it should work. Do it for a day. During the day ONLY do lucid stuff in addition to RCs. Browse DV, watch lucid videos and so on. And remember to WBTB and during it.. Constantly RC, for like an hour.

      This is the extreme way.

Just don't get stressed out. I think if you're too stressed with not getting a LD and feel "nothing's working" try taking a little break.
TODAY is the greatest day of all!!!

You have to be fanatical about that. Try writing RC on your wrist and doing a reality check every tim ethat you see it. It shoudl be like 100 or 1000 in a day to start off.

The best thing to do is to be aware of everything. Dream signs only work if you can be aware enough to notice them. What I mean is that you could see a pink elephant fly across the sky and that could seem perfectly normal in a dream. Unless you just happened to remember an RC, then you'll stay non-lucid. Unfortunately, there's little you can do increase awareness in you dreams unless you do a WILD. When you're sleeping, you're so drunk with sleepiness and your mind is so fuzzy that you can't think clearly. So the best thing to do is RC so much during the day that it becomes automatic. That way even when you're not thinking clearly in the dream, you still RC because it's cemented into your brain.

The more RCs you do, the better. I made a thread in the research center about doing one about every 5 minutes, and all of the testers of the technique say that it greatly increased their recall as well as helped them with RCs.

If you would like to help test this technique, then you post your results here when you're done:

It definitely takes some commitment though.
