Question about medicines and its effects on dreams

      Hi
I was wondering what you can tell me about anti-depressants and how they effect the dream ability.

I have lots of trouble remembering dreams and often feel like i have had none at all. I take anti-depressants on a very low dosage and I'm wondering if this is a problem.

I do remember dreams occasionally but this will fade fast or occur at random times of the day like the afternoon at work or some other inconvienent time where i can not devote my full attention to it and often this destroys the reliability of the reccollection as when i find the time to write it down or think over it the gap in time has skewed them memory too much.

Any help would be useful, I have much work to do in the realms of dreams...many reoccurring dreams to sort out and many questions to find answers too...

      Thank you for your help

Most medicines suppress REM-sleep, making vivid dreams highly unlikely. That's the short answer. I'd love to elaborate on this, but I've to go now.
