      Question Close to DILD?

On the night between january 21 and 22 (this year) I dreamt that I knew I was dreaming.
I did the finger and the clock RC. This dream only lasted about half a minute.

Already on the night of mars 18/19 I had my second false lucid dream (or whatever they are called).
In this one I dreamt that I woke up before doing some RC's and realizing that "I" was dreaming. This dream was longer, about average dream lenght.

Now it took even less time to get my third. Almost two weeks ago, on mars 25/26, I once again dreamt that I realized I was dreaming.
It was weird though, since I didn't dream about being lucid until the late/last part of the same dream (there was no "awakening" in this one).

On the night between mars 31 and april 1 I had my fourth.
This one only lasted for about a minute or so, and then I woke up (in reality). I layed still for a few seconds and daydreamed about the dream, then I fell asleep and entered it again. (I can't say for sure, but I think this was the first time I have ever re-entered a dream. At least it's the first time I have ever re-entered a false lucid dream (since I've only had 4 so far))
It only lasted for less than half a minute this time, so I tried to fall asleep again, but I couldn't.

Does this mean I'm close to having my first DILD?
I've never had a LD before, so I'm very excited

False awakening, I believe you mean. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_awakening

Sweet, dude! It is common for them to become more common over time, it means you are getting better. About the last part of the dream being the LD, it was a DILD. Thelucidity usually starts at about the begining or end of the alreadty in progress dream (Voila, a DILD).

You already have! It may not feel like it, but a DILD is when you get lucid in a dream, and lucid means you know you are dreaming. If you are asking are you close to having control, then yes you are! The feeling of a LD is overwhelming to most people their first few times, you get better over time. Good luck, and welcome to DreamViews!

It was not a false awakening, at least not a lucid one.
I call it false lucid dream because I dreamt about being lucid, when it in fact was just an ordinary dream.

As I said: I only dreamt that I knew I was dreaming, I never actually became lucid.

Oh. Then you were close to lucidity. Autosuggestion can help to break this cylce.

      Try a MILD.
