Thread: Sleep paralysis or not?

I started reading about lucid dreaming about a week ago,and last night i experienced my first "extraordinary" experience.When i was trying to have a WILD,my heart started pounding and my eyes began moving VERY quickly.I opened my eyes,and after that i was shaking a little. Was this sleep paralysis,or not,and can i have a WILD after this? Btw,i could move my body during this time.

I don't think so. When I have my SP's I feel really numb and like i have weights on me. I have a weird SP because others don't make their SP's happen whereas I make mine happen from a few techniques. The first time i did it i felt really really giddy afterwards and my lips started smiling forming smirks but they jolt back as I try to control my laughter of happiness that I sucessfully did a SP. So yea, basically I don't think yours was an SP. If you want ill tell you some of my SP techniques.

That wasn't SP. but I guess its a good sign.
The WILD techinque is good for falling to SP.

Also, once you get it you would definatly know about it. aha!

if you could move, you weren't in sleep paralysis
you will probably know when you hit it though.

it is called sleep paralysis because you're paralyzed and can't move.
