I want to ask if there is any way to influence what your dream is about pre-sleeping? like by reading a book or something you would dream about being in the book? I would really like to know because there's this one book that I like that I wish I could go into. ...weird. |

I found autosuggestion infinately helpful for this. As you're going to sleep say to yourself, "I will dream about ____" Repeat it, focus on it... |

Bollocks.
Dreams are made partially of what you were thinking about when you went to sleep, so yes, reading a book or watching a movie would help. However, I would think that you would have more influence if you did it right before you dreamt (WBTB style) |

I've just been watching a bunch of tornado videos to try and incubate more tornado dreams.( Hopefully tonight.) I've been doing pretty well recognizing tornadoes as dreamsigns. And I've been getting more tornado dreams lately. Probably because the season is coming up fast. |

I'm new here and i have never truly had a lucid dream, but as i often find it hard to sleep a reliable technec i use is to day dream in bed eventually drift off to sleep, now that i have started my dream journal i have noticed most of the times the day dream ends up staying on my mind and i dream about what ever i day dreamed. Some things that happens to me 100% is if i have been doing some thing all day, for example play a new game all day. but good luck for finding the answer. |

Very interesting, but I do not think that this is possible. |
