Hey there, everyone, Luna here ^_^ I'm 14 years old and a freshmen in highschool. If you care to know. =P

I've actually known about this forum since summertime, just never really joined yet. I'm still a n00b with lucid dreaming and things like that, but this forum and the actual site seem to be helping me. I haven't really tried any of the methods, but I've realized that now I learned what lucid dreaming and OBEs and such are, I realize I'm having them more than I thought I would...unintentionally.

Since about August or September, some weird things have been happening to me. I guess I will summarize it and in a later post, I can elborate more on the situation because this has been bugging me for awhile now.

Okay the first time I remember ever experiencing something like that was around August/Sept. I just woke up from sleeping, pretty sure I was just dreaming, I can't remember. It was like 3-4AM. I was trying to go back to sleep and I don't know if I did but my body felt very tingly, muscles very relaxed, vibrating, couldn't move them...etc. The next thing I knew I felt a jerk and I felt like I was pulled out of my body and hit the wall very hard. I'm still in my room and I look over and I see my body on my bed, pretty sure the same position I was in before it happened. I'm not sure if everything in my room was the same (decorations and such) but I remember my dresser was in the same spot, my chese, closet, window, and drawers were. But things like picture frames, etc, I have no idea. I realize I have this cord like thing connected to my body. For whatever reason (forget now), I floated to my closet my closet and was trying to reach something, but couldn't. This little angel thing was there...looked like a drawing...was watching me. Maybe for protection, I don't know. I remember thinking "Is this an OBE or just a real vivid lucid dream?" I think I was worried that something would take over my body. Then next thing I know, I was quickly snapped back to my body and I "snapped back to reality" and I sorta felt the tingly feeling still.

So basically, I'm not sure what that would be called...any insights would be appreciated.

I also had this other recent experience which was basically me trying to fall asleep. I started trying to get my mind off stupid stuff I was thinking about (like about my current crush, stupid crap like that). Oh yeah, it was probably 12:30-1:30AM, pretty late for me. I wasn't asleep, but I must have gotten into a hypnosis (my friend just enlightened me on hypnosis the other day and it could have been that, I don't know) or a sleep paralysis (sp?) state. I'm not sure. I don't even know if my eyes are closed or not, but I remember thinking something like "Am I still awake...I think so..." My body got all like tingly, muscles very relaxed (sorta like that nitrogen stuff you get at the dentist when you are getting a cavity filled =P), inable to move my body...etc. I felt a force trying to pull me out of my body. At first, I quickly forced my body back into me. I got out of the trance and tried to go back to sleep again. Again, same thing happened, except this time, more powerful and I was like "Maybe I should..." but then I saw this...swirly thing...looked like a warping thing that would take me to another dimension (I don't know, but that's what I was thinking it could be...it was late!) The force kept pulling stronger and finally I was thinking "No, I'm not letting it." My body got up to like half way out. I also was thinking again that something would take over, I guess it's just a fear...o_O This whole time, my body is still feeling like how I described. I finally again, got out of the trance (I don't know if this is the right word), a lot harder this time, and was thought to myself "Maybe I should change the position how I'm sleeping." (I was on my back both times, and on my back during the OBE/vivid lucid dream, whatever you want to call it) So I went on my side, then the same thing happened AGAIN but it wasn't nearly as strong as the first too and finally got out of it again, then finally flipped over to the opposite side and then fell asleep.

Very weird. I would again appreciate opinions on this and feel free to ask me questions. Now, don't forget, I don't know if I really left my body, but it did feel like that.

Besides those 2 times, there's been other times where I've had that weird feeling, but those are the only 2 times I remember "leaving my body" or almost leaving it. I'm asssuming the other times and maybe these are just sleep paralysis or something. I'm probably using that term wrong, sorry if I am. I've had probably about 2 lucid dreams. All of these experiences are unintentional, think I said that already.
