      Dreaming The Future

Wierd i know, but try being the one who it happens to. Im not going to say i dream the future, because its not like scenerios or situations. Its just one day i can be doing something as simple as making toast, saying a sentence, that i remember saying or doing in a dream, whether a dream from the night before or months ago. Its happened to me in many wierd ways, like dreaming my (EX) boyfriend cheated on me, only to have him do it a couple days later.I also dreamed that i was in a room packing a back pack some where ive never been before, only a month later to realize im packing a back pack in my new room, a house we recently moved in to.
I dont even know if this is possible? Could there be a different explanation?

Yes there are different explanations. It's quite easy to understand too. You dream about a situations that you unconscious create in by some facts (you could also do that in waking life, by meditating to a certain problem) and more then that when you get in a similar situation in reality you tend to act just like in your dreams. Then you may remember it and say "Hey, I've did this in my dream too!", but you didn't actually dreamed your future, more you acted like you dreamed. That's it.

PS: If you get at the end of this little story and aren't able to remember you're dream you'll probably have a "Deja-Vu" feeling. Now you also know from where this "Deja-vu" thing comes.

That helps alittle. But it doesnt explain how i knew exactly what my new room was going to look like a month earlier.( i never seen the house before we moved in )Also the back pack was one i never owned before, didnt recieve it until moving into the new house. It was a short 30 second dream that i still remember well, and it was 100% the same as what i did in real life one month later.

This things can happens backwards too. I mean do something that you think you've dreamed it when you actually dreamed something else (maybe a real close situation, but not necesary).
Human mind is a very tricky one, and it happens often to play those kind of confusing situations to us, especially when you become more interested in dreams and stuff like this. As you started this topic and after I readed both your posts I know there is like nothing I can do to show you that there is like a very very little chance to actually dreaming an unknown future (tho posibble) and you probably haven't so, but in future think at all the posibble explications and not take the most paranormal one as a valid and true one.
Hope this will help you! Goodbye!

PS: Sorry for posibble misspelings, I am in a rush.

Thanks, and i do believe that it might have been just something similar. I figured there was probably a more realistic explaination.

One problem I run into often in my dreams is that my mind will actually rewrite memories, or just make up entire memories on the fly, of things that never happened, it's rather impressive thinking about it, some of these 'memories' are quite in depth. If it's possible asleep I imagine it's possible awake. So you could have drempt about looking for a new apartment or what not, but the details might have been kinda fuzzy till you saw your new apartment, and then your mind just filled in that fuzzyness with the new apartment as things clicked into place.

One theory as to predicting your boyfriend was cheating on you is just that.. he was dropping little signs along the way, and your subconscious was picking up on them even if they weren't. So through these hints and things, you drempt that he was cheating on you, when he really was all along, you just weren't catching on awake, and your subconscious had to nudge you a bit.
