      Is It Lucid??

      Hi,
I am new here. Hope you can help me.

I've been experiencing consious dreaming for a while. It first it started with a sinking feeling into the bed, then me realising that I was dreaming, then floating around seeing everything distorted and finally losing consiousness. However, lately the experience has changed a bit. Its starts with a strange deep low noise and a slight movement of the body. Like a mild earthquake. I then realise that I am dreaming but when I try to do something an external force stops me. Its not full paralysis. As I can float or move but the movement is restricted. Sometimes I feel a hand grabbing me. Usually I get scared, so I tell myself to wake up. Yesterday, it started with the mild earthquake, then something floated me on the air. I knew that this was a dream, I was just really relaxed about it and did not try to take control. Finally, I landed on the bed. But when I tried to move I felt fingers pushing my head down. I actually moved my hands and touched them, until they left. When I opened my eyes, I was not sure whether it was a dream or real so I tried to move, but I only rotated in my axis. I;ve realised that this was still a dream and at that moment something grabbed and pulled my hair, I was still relaxed about it so the sensation when away and it became an unconsious dream. Is this lucid? What's this force or hand that I feel? I have experienced sleep paralysis before and I don't think it is that. Or isit?

      Thanks

Mostly it sounds like the different hallucinations a person can experiences while in sleep paralysis. If you can move you aren't in SP, and if you can move, try some reality checks to figure out if you're dreaming or not.
