      Wild?

Hi, I just joined, and I have never had a lucid dream before. I've been lurking for a few days, and I am totally excited to have a lucid dream, hopefully very soon. I've been practicing RCing a lot and am now keeping a dream journal to increase my dream recall, and I actually managed to wake up after having a dream through autosuggestion.
So I have a question about WILDs. Can someone WILD before falling asleep if they've never had a lucid dream before? I think I read somewhere that it's possible to WILD before falling asleep, and I wanted to try it.
      Thanks

Yes, you can, but it's much easier after a WBTB (Wake Back To Bed) because you're in a REM period, and because your body is more relaxed.

      Oh, and

Oh, yeah, I already read the tutorials, but they were mainly talking about WILDing after waking up, so I just wasn't really sure
So I tried it anyways, and things got way too freaky! I don't think I'll ever try that again... Is it normal to feel like you're spinning around really fast and feeling night-terror-panicky?

Yep, that's perfectly normal and you shouldn't be afraid of it. I even like it. It's like I'm on drugs

Mmm, ok. That's going to be hard to get used to =/ It felt like horrible nightmare filled with absolute terror. Quite indescribable, really.
But maybe it won't be so bad if I try doing it after a WBTB
