      Unhappy Childhood Memory... pretty weird

Hello everyone, I'm new here but I have had some lucid dreams. This topic however is about something I used to experience as a child.

As a child I used to dream about an old woman's face appearing behind/in my bedroom window (at night). She looked like a witch and her face had no color but white. I used to feel, but I really mean FEEL a very unpleasant tickling sensation in my stomach in my dream. Then I woke up and get out of bed. When I look at the window, she appears again. I don't get the tickling though. Then I run to my parents room and fall asleep in their beds. So AFTER I woke up I saw the face AND I felt something really vivid in my dream. And I don't think this was an FA because I would wake up in my parents bedroom where I went when I first woke up.

Anyone got any similar experiences or even better explenations for me?

Hallucinations or an over active imaginations... Seeing as it was in your childhood, that is quite reasonable.

The first part is Sleep Paralysis, I believe. It's where your body shuts down for sleep before your mind. It's pretty common to feel vibrations, or a tickling sensation as you described it. You'll also hear and see things that aren't there, called Hypnagogic Imagery and Audio. I imagine seeing the face after you woke up is, like Del said, a hallucination.

dude, i know how you feel, the same thing would happen to me, exept it wasn't a face in the window, it was a figure, like a soldier outside of my room. I would get so scared, start to get up, then just stop and fall in my bed. I was so scared, then my cat came over (RIP Whiskers). It was wierd and i know how you felt. I think that the other guys might have hit the nail on the head about this though.
All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him.
