Hello everyone, I'm new here but I have had some lucid dreams. This topic however is about something I used to experience as a child. |

Hallucinations or an over active imaginations... Seeing as it was in your childhood, that is quite reasonable. |

Bollocks.
Well, I do still have an active imagination but as a child it was very active |

The first part is Sleep Paralysis, I believe. It's where your body shuts down for sleep before your mind. It's pretty common to feel vibrations, or a tickling sensation as you described it. You'll also hear and see things that aren't there, called Hypnagogic Imagery and Audio. I imagine seeing the face after you woke up is, like Del said, a hallucination. |

dude, i know how you feel, the same thing would happen to me, exept it wasn't a face in the window, it was a figure, like a soldier outside of my room. I would get so scared, start to get up, then just stop and fall in my bed. I was so scared, then my cat came over (RIP Whiskers). It was wierd and i know how you felt. I think that the other guys might have hit the nail on the head about this though. |

All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him.
- Sun Tzu, the Art of War
Thanks for the explanations guys, I appreciate it. |
