      Involuntary Lucids.

Whenever I try to "force' a lucid it hardly ever happens. For me they just seem to appear out of the blue. I am not complaining at all. Just wondered if this is common amongst you learned folk.

This is normal. What you are having are DILDs. A Dream intiated lucid dream. But that is good. This means you have the capabilty to distiguish that you are in a dream. Wich can ultimatly help with other techniques.
90% of my lucid dreams are DILDs.

      Yeah!

I have been an advocate on this Page for Lucidity by Suggestion, and you're experience tends to support my viewpoint.

You see, all of the other techniques use the same Suggestion but indirectly. Those who use Reality Checks are in effect asking their Dream Minds to deliberately set up a Dream Scenario with internal inconsistencies which the Dream Mind could either show or hide depending on whether It really wanted you to become Lucid.

so one might as well suggest simply becoming Lucid -- that one simply realize one is dreaming when one is dreaming. Why go through all of the indirect inferrentials.

where did all of the indirect inferrentials come from? Well, the New Age Industry thrives on books and seminars. And Books and Seminars abhor an easy simplity -- people do not buy twenty dollar books and spend $300 for weekend Seminars for simple easy answers. They want complexity, and that is what is sold to them.

But it is actually very simple. If you want to have Lucid Dreams, you will have Lucid Dreams. Its that easy. Its that simple.
