Hey Welcome To DV |

My name is Alaina. I'm fourteen. I've done a great deal of research on lucid dreaming. (Some might say I'm obsessed.) I've had seven lucid dreams since I've started the techniques. I haven't flown yet. |

Hey Welcome To DV |

I am a leaf on the wind... watch how I soar!
Welcome to Dream Views, Alaina! You can call me Robbie, if ya ever catch me around here posting, |

Wow I never thought of myself as a natural. I always thought naturals had at least one every night with no techniques. I'm doing better with staying in the dream. I just have trouble when things get too exciting. Example: I realize I'm dreaming and start looking for my crush. I find him and we start kissing. I wake up in the middle of the kissing. Or I tried to jump off a house to fly. I woke up in midair. That sort of thing. I always plan out what I'm going to do ahead of time so I don't freak out trying to figure out what to do, but when things get too exciting I wake up. |

Perhaps try takin er a bit slower? maybe instead of jumping off a house you could try to stand and levitate, and eventually "swim" into the air on further occassions... or... hmm not really sure, lol, but good luck. |

yeah that's a good point... jumping off a house might not be the best way to start flying. I can kinda of feel the dream fade. I always remember to spin, but it never works. I think I'm going to try banging my fists on the ground because my dream body will be moving and having some connection with where I am. As for what I'm doing: obsessive research about lucid dreaming during the day, reality checks, naming my subconscious, MILDs, and I eat popcorn before I go to bed which seems to help. |

Hey chinchilla! |
|
My eyes are open when I'm kissing him. It never occurred to me to close my eyes which is kind of odd. Shouting Extend my dream now! sounds like a good technique. I haven't heard of that before. I'm going to try that, hopefully tonight. Thanks! |
