      Hey everybody

Just wanting to post a hello thread

I spent a few hours last night reading various posts, and found a bunch of material I have never read in books here

Just a little background info for those who are curious. I am 30 years old, and have been fascinated with lucid dreaming since I have been around the age of 12. I spent 4-5 years devoted to perfecting my "ability" so to speak hehe

Anyways, for the past few years I had lost touch with myself, and now I am back with a vengence

I was amazed because last night is the first night I had even attempted to lucid dream, and did twice!

First one was a natural Dild, and then believe it or not after i woke up to go to the bathroom (only 3 hours later) i then laid down and tried a technique posted here on the board. I concentrated on a mundane movement (imagining swinging on a swing) in my head without moving my body, and in as little as 30 seconds to a minute, I could feel my body vibrating, and what WONDERFUL feeling that was, it's just indescribale, and then directly into the most realistic/crystal clear scene I had witnessed in years. For me, was more effective than visual's..Although I have to admit that I absolutely LOVE it when you get those images, how clear/vivid they are although they fade in only a few seconds.. Either 1 enjoyable tho!

It was amazing there was no lapse in time, I had done this naturally a few times of course over the years, but back then before the internet when I did most of my studies, I had never known about Wild.

Sorry for the long read, just excited to be here, and looking forward to talking to you guys

      Hehe thanks guys

Turns out the next night, was in fact, quite the opposite. Guess I was too tired to stay concious. Need to start looking at my hand during the day again and ask myself if i'm dreaming a few times per day, that usually does the trick for me

I'm glad your re-immersion into LDing was so positive. It's great that you found such a working method for you.

It sounds like you would appreciate the VILD, too. You may want to give that a read through.

Well, I hope to hear of your success and the insight of such a long time LDer.

thanks that was a good read, i will definately try to apply that tonight

i never was good at keeping attention on a visual (unless it's a HI of course, cuz those are simply freaking amazing, one of the coolest things i've ever experienced)

but yeah back to the point, feeling is also pretty difficult for me, since i place so much value on the sight, but now that i've read it, it will be in my subconcious when i dream tonight.

even when i'm half/lucid i still experiment while i'm dreaming with what i've read that day lol

it's very weird, because i know that I'm dreaming, but i continue on with the theme and never quite realize i can do anything. that happens almost every night for me. i've got to retrain myself hehehe ( and retrain myself to quit being lazy and use capital letters when i type ) and using extreme run on sentences
