      New to lucid dreaming

Hey guys! well im pretty new to lucid dreaming
i used to keep all my dreams in a journal for about a week
but now i stoped /;, but i can recall most of my dreams when i wake up.
I have had two lucid dreams when i first started trying, but thats when
things have gotten a bit strange...
So Now when i realize im dreaming, i feel allmost as if im about to wake up,
so i do the technique where you do as if you are spinning, but problem
is that in the middle of that i allways get this horrible pain on my ribcage,
as if a hot blade was stabbing me. Its allways happening now and i dont know what to do?! Has anyone experienced anything like this? Im starting to think
my mind wants dreaming all to itself.

its a mind thing, your brain sound slike its trying to interp your environment (dream) and your waking environment and I would not be surprised if you are holding your breath IRL mix that in with the sensation that your brain is interp of the spinning in the dream and you have one possible answer.

Just remember, you can overcome almost anything inside the dream state, just push your mind pas it or try another method for staying lucid. Remain calm, rub your hands together, hold onto something.

The best thing to remember when you are trying to stay lucid is to just forget about your waking body and focus purely on your dreaming body, this will keep you inside the dream, while attention on other stimulus ie your waking body, will have you returning there before you can stop it.

Later on you will gain the skill to feel your real body and your dream body at the same time, and if you do wake up you will be able to retain the dream and force your self back into it through a sort wild or mild.

Keep on your dream journal, dont take the short cuts, you will just hinder your self later on . Practice persistence nad patience and you will have everything lucid dream can offer.
