Can I WILD when I first go to bed?

I have looked around on this forum a lot trying to learn about WILDing. I really want to do it but most things I've read say that you should go to sleep and then wake up later to WILD then. I just want to know if there is a technique I can use to WILD right when I go to bed and not have to wake up later.

Yes it is possible to WILD without going to sleep first; but attempting to do that is extremely. People here suggest that you go to sleep first so that when you wake up you can easily go back to sleep without wasting time. Thats pretty much all I know.
I am sure that it takes a lot more time to try to WILD without getting drowsy first. But if you have the time to, then go for it. But if you need to wake up early I suggest going to sleep and then WILDing after a few hours of sleep.

Hope I helped (I'm new as well so if I am wrong I wouldn't mind someone correcting me).

I've heard it said that it is possible to WILD when you first go to bed but that it is much easier when you wake up after some sleep, especially if you do a WBTB before the WILD attempt.

Yes, you can WILD right away.

The reason that people say to do if after a few hours of sleep is that your REM periods will be longer and closer together after you sleep for a few hours, and on top of that being a bit tired and groggy will ensure that you're 'sufficiently' tired.

That being said it is possible to WILD immediately, you can lucid dream outside of REM periods, and REM periods can also occur immediately when you first go to bed for the night.

So really, just read, try out what you like the sound of, and experiment.

You're gonna need to find if you are able to WILD right away or not. I find it easier if you shut the lights off half hour before going to bed. The technique I created for myself does not involve sleeping for hours first. So, anything is possible.

I have had a WILD at night when first going to bed a couple times although they have not been on purpose, so like the others said it can happen but its usually too hard, as its ideal to do it when you arent really tired so you can stay conscious. When it has happened to me, i have fallen asleep and woke back up a minute later, with loud buzzing and body vibrating very intensely which i followed into an LD, or ill wake up in darkness and look at my hands. It was like becoming lucid in the stage before having a dream. All of the times this has happened to me were all in the same week and were completely accidental. Hasnt happened since, so it definitely is possible but if i were you just try to do it during nap time, or do the sleep 6 hours wake up for an hour and a half then try to WILD, that one is the easiest for me.
