      Breathing and SP

Im going to try and do a WILD tonight, and it will be my first time, and im not gonna lie, im pretty scared. Ive heard of hallucinations and stuff, and its really scaring me, is there anyway to avoid them?

EDIT: I was gonna make this about how I was supposed to breath in SP, then I realized how stupid that was, thats why the title is "Breathing and SP"

You dont need to SP to WILD at all, :] But relax and focus on your breathing and get deeper and deeper into SP then let the HI come and yadada yadda

Ah don't worry about it, this exact same thing happened to me. I think some WILD tutorials can emphasis the hallucinations, lights and sounds etc a bit too much so you get a bit freaked out. Don't worry, this happens to you every single time you fall asleep, you're just not conscious, therefore not experiencing it, but its still happening!

Being scared may be inevitable but it does ease. For most people it is a shock to experience these things and never even known they were there. But you don't need to worry, sure you might get scared and shocked the first time but the second time you will be less scared. It takes a few tries to full accept it and know its all in your head. Then your fine! I was freaked out the first time, but after that it got way easier. Its absolutely fine to be scared, but you'll get use to it!

Well, I tried a WILD this morning, because I couldn't do a WBTB as I had no dream recall (Not enough dreams written down)

I dunno, I never had any hallucinations, nothing happened, I never entered SP. I was relaxed for at least 40 minutes

Also, did it have anything to do with the fact that I was twitching, or is this pretty normal?
