Brief Moment of Lucidity ?

hey guys , once again im here with another very noob-ish question

i was having a dream and for a tiny moment i think i may have made a conscious decision , i do remember the dream pretty well and i remember trying to prolong this dream by rubbing my hands together fast. Before this decision it was just a normal dream i could not control. And then i was able to think consciously and try and make the dream stay alive , i did do so but then i slipped out of lucidity without waking up but the dream still going on.

im pretty sure i was lucid for a brief moment to make that decision to prolong my dream , but im not entirely sure , so i was just looking for some opinions and what you guys think. Also could this tiny moment of lucidity mean anything ?

In normal dreams, we are conscious aswell, just not conscious of the fact that we dream. So, making a conscious decision does not mean automatically that you were lucid. Bottom lien is, if you knew it was a dream you were lucid, else not. Sometimes this knowing can also be a kind of feeling though, just feeling that you are dreaming without giving it lots of thought (I would call that low-level LD).

oh ok , i know what you mean ..
so would you say that this could be an early accomplishment just for the fact that im starting to make my way , or is it just nothing really important ?
