Hello I have just found this forum and am really glad to see that it is a really accessable format. I have just become interested in lucid dreams. I have had them in the past, yet have never been able to control them. I didn't even know what they were, I just put it down to some strange dream! I have a distinct memory of a dream I had about a month ago where I decided the events were not possible and I must be dreaming, and then everything in the dream stopped being so crazy and I sorted out what I wanted! I have also had a couple of dreams were I have half woken up and gone back to a dream, changing its outcome. I am not sure if that is part of lucid dreaming or not, any ideas? Hey welcome! Those half-awakening dreams sound like pre-lucid dreams. Lucid is when you realize you are dreaming, you could have easily gotten to a lucid from those pre-lucid situations.
