My first time?

So I've been researching lucid dreaming for almost a week now, and I think I might have had my first one. It was kind of weird though, it was almost as if I was dreaming that I was having a lucid dream. I don't know if that makes any sense, I was wondering if anyone has any similar experiences, or if im just @%#&ed in the head.. lol

You were slightly lucid, you got to the point where you knew that you were dreaming, but you didn't quiet understand that you could do anything yet. Getting close, I'd call it a lucid dream.

I had one of those last night, and Its pretty weird. It's also cool because everything was super vivid, and I can remember the whole dream. I even did some of my dream goals, like trying to fly. Keep trying, I'm sure your close to a LD.

I actually flew too, in my dream I was driving a car with my brother in the passenger seat, and i ramdomley did a reality check, and i realized i wasn't dreaming. I made sure i was calm so i didn't wake up. than i turned to my brother and said " hahaha u are my dream character" he didn't know what i was talking about. then to prove to him i was dreaming i started to fly. then i was at a table for some reason with some friends, and madonna was sitting across from me and started to play footsies hhahahaha, it was so weird. but when i woke up, i felt really unsatisfied, becuase it felt as though i was just dreaming about having the lucid dream, like i wasn't able to have my own thoughts..
