Hey xXbernisXx, welcome to the forum! About your experience, im pretty sure it is what is commonly referred to as Sleep Paralysis (Or for short SP). The body goes through this every night, to prevent itself from acting out the dreams. Else you would dream of soccer and start kicking the blankets off. So thats why your body gets paralysed. Normally this happens when you are not conscious, but at times you can be fully aware of it happening. Often this paralysis is also accompanied by a sense of a dark presence close by, the so called "old hag syndrome". The only thing you can do in such cases is remind yourself that there is actually nothing bad going on and there is no danger at all, because it is a normal thing that can happen. No one has ever been abducted by the old hag, either |
