New to DV and I love it, "old hag"....

I am New to DV, but I have been intersted in LD for the longest time, since I been able to do it since I was little. I am currently experimenting with Kava Kava and B6 and my dream clarity improved so much but I must remember to do RT. and this is where I am failing to control my dreams I can recall them no problem but is rare that I can control them. although when I do I like to swing on buildings like spider man. is a rush and I been able to do it a few times a year. but its gettiign harder.

Another topic I want to touch on is on the "Old Hag". I been also suffering from SP(Sleep Paralyzes) since I was abotu the age of 11 and I noticed something that has visited me everytime I have it. Its the Old hag

but through my many SP experiences I've learned that is all a dream, the weird thing is that a lot of people experience the same feeling

I am very intersted in LD I want to learn to control them. My techniques WILD always works for me but I lose control

but always yearn for that day that I get to control my LD's

Just one question: What is Kava Kava? I've never heard of it before.

Anyway: Instead of RT for Reality Testing use RC for Reality Check. Some people might get confused with that

I've heard of that Old hag O_O I heard it from a documentary. I was freaked out about it. I was worried it might visit me n my sleep.

Personally, I have not encountered the "old hag", but I can imagine what it would be like. Also, do you find SP annoying or have you managed to get used to it? I assume so since you've had it since 11 y/o.

well I know the old hag is just a dream but like I said before is weird that a lot of ppl see it, maybe is because word of mouth teh sub-soncsience records it and we see it. at first I was scared of the old hag, but as I learned in time thats when I am most lucid so now I look forward to it, I just ignore the hag. but when ever that happens for some reason i seem to experience OBE I don't know if its just a dream but last time it happened I remember floating to teh roof top and sittign there watchign the skies but then started rainign and I got scared and fell in through teh roof and laf way the 1st floor and I remember seeing my self sleeping and I was tryign to pull up with teh covers, but then I woke up and it was a huge jolt. I lost lucidity then. the weird thing is that the next day was raining....

Kava Kava I found out through this website. is a root extract from indonesia and it really realxes you. last night I had a horrible night for sleeping but there was this moment when I actually felt myself enterign teh dream world everything aroud me was muted all i could hear were my thgouhts and my body felt as it was just there still never had that sensation before and I knwo is teh kava kava, it didn't last long but it was an unique sensation. Kava Kava States awful...but it works!

and I look forward in sharing my dream experiences I have many. but i lose control and thats what I need help with.

if anyone has any ideas let me know. 8)

you dont even need to ignore the old hag!
as you already know, its just a dream, and as such you can control every aspect of it. Whenever the old hag visits you, repeat to yourself "this is just a dream" and then try to transform the hag into a hot chick! you will be surprised at how easy it really is, with only thinking "I'd wish it was a hot chick" you will be instantly pleased (and willed yourself into a lucid dream as a bonus!) what else could one ask for?

Well what I heard is it's this 'witch/hag' thing that comes up to you at night, and it paralyses you and then sucks the blood through your neck and people can actually feel the pressure of when the hag is sitting on them drinking the blood and stuff.
