To answer your question, Dreamguides can be recurring dream characters, or they can also be more 'spiritual' characters, these are knowns as 'archetypes.' If you type in 'Carl Jung' in our search function, it might bring up some more, or you can always google it. I'm not sure if you can invoke them, i've never tried that, but i see no reason why you couldn't!
