Hah, same issue. Its a real piss-off because I only have 2 sleep-in days and I hate wasting them.

About your question, no. In your dreams, you're technically always doing want 'you' want to do. The difference is that this 'you' is simply the drone-like, do-not-question 'you'.

Does it fail to wake you up, or do you get up, turn it off, and go back to sleep. This is something I once noticed I did. I put my phone in the opposite corner of my room, and turned the alarm on to 3 A.M. I woke up the next day at 8, and checked my alarm. It had been manually turned off.

Try putting your alarm far away from your bed, perhaps in a cage or something else it takes precision to open. Put obstacles in your way as well, intended to trip you. Remember to put it at a high volume, too.

Edit: Normally I become lucid out of nowhere. Something happens that triggers lucidity (ex the other night someone gave birth outside of a bagel shop.) then I RC to stabilize.

If you turn it off quickly, it's likely they won't remember.

no, i have a baby brother, very light sleeper. wakes up to the drop of a pin. then when he wakes up, he crys, my mom and dad wake up, then they get mad at me for having my alarm on at that time of night. even if i tell them i was trying to wbtb, and even if they understand, ill still be grounded, trust me, everytime something like that happens, i still get grounded even if they understand. i know its stupid. i hate it too.
