HI! How did you find your dream guide

I'm a newbie here but not at LDing. I'm sort of in a rut for now. I used to do everything like vitamins, sleep during certain parts of the day and binural beats. Lately though I have just LD's on occasion when I have time to sleep enough. I am trying to meet my dream guide and talk to DC's with more success. When they relies I am lucid they become disinterested, irritated and annoyed. ANy help with either question would be stellar so thanks for taking the time to read this. -Roseburg

hi roseburg when you are in an ordinary dream, everything around you is being invented by your own mind. when you talk to dream characters, you are usually communicating with parts of yourself that you have managed to manifest in a dream. it is likely that the reason these characters are "getting bored and annoyed" with you, is because they are, in fact, you. i've had the same experience, as well as the exact opposite: if i pay attention to them they start following me around and i am annoyed by them. one thing i have considered is that there are normally reasons we choose to hide things from ourselves. these things aren't always going to give themselves up so easily. one thing is for sure, though: they are there for a reason... if you didn't want yourself to discover them at all, they wouldn't be there. maybe consider making friends with them, finding out what they represent... asking them what they want. i've run into dc's who have told me that they are "my bondage".... "my nutrition"... things like this. dealing with dc's isn't always logical because they are coming straight from your subconscious. you're not always going to get a really obvious or clear answer.
