      Smile Intro to Toastypleez!

Hello there, I am toastypleez. I'm just here to get tips on lucid dreaming, and perhaps even share my dreams. Ever since I first visited, (not signed up), I have remembered two dreams in two nights. I am very pleased, as I was not expecting results that quickly!
I have had Lucid dreams before, but they weren't at all special. Most of them were nightmares and I had large monsters chasing me. I usually stopped and said "Wait, this is a dream!" but I'm still freaked out so I keep pinching myself in the dream until I wake up. There has only been one time that I was fully lucid and did whatever I wanted. I flew all around my yard
Anyway, nice to see you guys!
      Goals:
      Attain a Lucid: Completed 12/4/09
Summon Something: It was a flying invisible car! Completed 12/16/09
      Teleport myself into a book

fly, either on something I summoned or by myself: Completed 12/16/09
Breath underwater or become a mermaid

Hey there, . I just joined DV a few days ago myself. How long have you know about lucid dreams...knowing you could do anything you want in them? I have had a few lucid dreams before(realized I was dreaming, but didn't know I could do anything I wanted), in nightmares(and I was freaked out so I didn't realize there was no danger till I woke up), and all I could think about was waking myself up.

      Thanks Maverick! Will doo :bravo:

Oh and freakydreamer, I've known about lucid dreaming since this summer...I just forgot about its magical wonders for now, but basically I've had the same experience with lucids that you had

If you DILD it just kinda happens. That was with me I did use some mantras before I went to sleep, but that doens't always help. It was really fast the first time that night I became lucid I became to excited and lost it. The second time I somehow got myself under control and could explore the dream. It's kinda if you focus your mind on it, you'll have more chance of getting lucid and controlling yourself.
