Thread: Some Questions about LD's :)

Ohk, I'm new to LDing, I have only had 1 which lasted no more than 5 seconds, I was so disappointed. Anyway back to it, Here are some of the questions i wanted to know about...

If you eat something will you taste it? And if you don't know what it taste like will your mind give it a random flavor?

Is it easier to sort of train yourself, Like jump 10 feet before you attempt to fly? / Spawn something little before you spawn a purple Giraffe you wish to ride?

Change I change my view from 1st person to 3rd person and vice versa?

Should i spin around or rub my hands together?

Is it hard to find the Lucid Cross Roads?

Ohk don't judge me, I'm just curious how strong our brains our...

Can you have a orgasm in a LD and if so do you feel it?

Hello dylan . I'll be glad to answer some of your questions.

If you eat something will you taste it? And if you don't know what it taste like will your mind give it a random flavor? - yes you can taste things in a lucid dream. Although it might vary from one person to another it is possible and you will most likely taste it depending on the level of lucidity and or dream. And yes most likely.

Is it easier to sort of train yourself, Like jump 10 feet before you attempt to fly? / Spawn something little before you spawn a purple Giraffe you wish to ride? - i would say so. Diffrent people have diffrent strengths. It's good to test your own abilitys towards things and come up with your own techniques. For example, I found it difficult to fly for a long time. But i create sound effects that go with the motion while taking off to stimulate it more i guess. Thats what helps me.

Change I change my view from 1st person to 3rd person and vice versa? - iv'e never tried this, but aneything is possible in a lucid dream. But i would think it would require alot of dream control.

Should i spin around or rub my hands together? - i would suggest rubbing your hands together at your level.

Can you have a orgasm in a LD and if so do you feel it? - haha, well alot of people have said they usually wake up but i beleive you can come very close to it

Yes, you can do anything you want to. It's you're mind.

Should i spin around or rub my hands together?
Yes, both of these pump vividness and keep you dreaming. Spinning can be an effective teleportation method.

Is it hard to find the Lucid Cross Roads?
If you're talking about shared dreaming, I highly doubt it exists. If you're one for deceiving yourself, I'm sure you can experience a shared dreaming-like state, though you won't be lucid.

Don't worry, lucid sex is VERY common. The top 2 things people try when lucid are flying and sex, myself included. Anyways, yes you do feel it. Teenage boys generally tend to wake up and have a wet dream, but this is not always the case and is rare in adults. I've heard of some people who can expirience over 50 within a couple seconds in a dream.

You can do absolutely anything in a lucid dream. Don't listen to anyone who says otherwise.

Darn. I was gunna try sex in a lucid dream but i really dont wanna have a wet dream.

hi dylan what you expirence in real life you can expirence in you dream except that rules can be broken....have you seen the matrix the spoon...

i was dreaming i was in a car driving along another car cut me up but it did not crash into me but it bent like rubber in the middle so in other words everything seems the same except the laws of physics seems to change bear that in mind so really in a dream state anything is possible its down to the imagination let us know how you get on
