longest dream ive had in years !!!

Well last night i went to bed as usual having given up cannabis 2weeks ago my recall has become stronger and stronger well last night i had an absoulutly crazy dream i swear it actually felt as if i was there for atleast 2hours lol ... first i was at a friends house and his stepdad was shouting at him so i tackled him to the floor ( kinda random i know) then we went into his mums house and was drinking all the booze and smoking there stash when this huge guy walked in and went crazy every1 left apart from a few and again i tackled this guy to the ground i really dont know whats with the tackles lmfao or how i didint become lucid after this the police came round and arrested us ( hmm a tackle could have been helpfull here ) and they put us in a prison for a week ... it was just so strange as normally i have about 3-4 i remeber each night but this night i was just 1 big long dream ( from what i remeber ) There was alot more invloved with the dream but only little details i always seem to fight in my dream or atleast push someone over any idea what it means ?? I used to kickbox for about 5-6 years maybe thats influencing these strange dreams ? im curius does anyone else get dreams which seem to last hours but with no others ??

Yeah, I've had dreams that seemed to last for hours. Time gets dialated in dreams because your dream skips around like a movie.

I have had a few long dreams..the last kinda long one was last week...I went on a several hour long outing with my dream girlfriend...even though I don't have a girlfriend in real life..well kinda, but I don't think it was her, it was a girl a talked to a few years ago once........seemed like at least a few hours long. I remember having a few other long ones, one that seemed to last at least a few years. And like ninja said... Time gets dialated in dreams because your dream skips around like a movie True...I have read of a few experiments that indicate that time in a dream is taking up an equal amount of time in the real world...10 dream seconds takes up 10 seconds of real life. So you can't sleep for years, so your dream skips around, so you miss alot of stuff in a dream, but you don't realize you did.

Wouldn't that be SO weird is you woke up one day and you are 10 years old and had just dreamed the other 10 years (or how ever old you are) and dreamed about lucid dreams and everything but basically you have to start ALL over because half your life was just a dream. O_o Yep I've had longish dreams before but in the morning for me when I wake up they usually seem like they were only a couple minutes.
