Whoa...that's the 1st time I've seen that question. XD It's (lu-sid). You most likely spelled the 1st pronunciation wrong. How much had Mancon told you about Lucid Dreaming? It there anything you want to know more about?

He told me a bit about WILD, what he uses. What is SP? He said just hallucinations... But I heard somebody say Sleep Paralysis. After hearing that I wondered what it was...I tried to do what my friend lightly discussed... So I tried not to swallow or move... So I got numb... is that 'sposed to happen? I've got more! He told me lucid is just KNOWing you're having a dream? I didn't understand that. He said Dream Control is where you control it.... Because if so, I've been having lucid all my life... And dream control once!

And dream control once! Lucid Dreaming is knowing you're dreaming, while still in the dream. And yes, dream control is when you can control the dream. Many new members tend to get the idea that if they didn't control the dream, then it wasn't Lucid. Controlling the dream comes with practice and had nothing to do with Lucidity. Lucid Dreaming = Knowing you're dreaming while in the dream Lucid Dreaming ≠ Dream Control I'm not an SP expert, but it's been discussed here that you acutally don't have to stay perfectly still to WILD. One of the other Dream Guides or members can probably answer that question in greater detail than me. Also, SP experiences vary from person to person, which explains why Mancon told you he only gets hallucinations.
